    The BERETTA Aluminum Shotgun Snap Caps are made to protect your guns by relieving the stress on your firing pins and firing springs. Available in a variety of types and calibers, these are a great tool to practice dry firing, to teach safe gun handling, and also to prevent your firing pin from breaking.

    When you safely store your unloaded gun, put a snap cap in the chamber and fire your gun to allow the firing pin to lay at rest. Snap caps are used to confirm a gun is functioning properly without using live ammunition. They also work as a training tool to simulate gun malfunctions, the same as a dud would.
